Leslie Postek (Ares) Dramatic Writing 12/6/11 What a man Odysseus is. Fighting for his life the whole way home from the Trojan War. I like the sound of that. War is just my specialty. His men, such foolish creatures. Not listening to their captain and making them fight jus before the left for home. If it wasn’t for the little help I gave him, he might have not made it home. But what I like was that he got himself into a little mischief; Bringing him and his men to the Cyclopes Island. I couldn’t help but keep my eye on his tricks and tactics. They were very amusing to me as a fighter. Even though he made some mistakes by giving out his identity, he was lucky. Odysseus would be hired on my account to fight with me. His twenty years of his traveling was a fight for survival. To me, it was the ultimate war; More challenging the Trojan War. Although he is human he could come across a perfect God in my eyes. What I was impressed with the most was his fight for Penelope and proving the name ‘Odysseus’ to be his. His kept himself a secret. But got his helped from his son, who new it was he. During the attack, he was sure to be hurt, which was as followed. But he never gave up, sure to be thinking of his lovely wife and son; Then rushing through his mind. What a warrior he is. Odysseus.
